Retirement Living

If you’re over 67 (or over 60 and in receipt of a disability-related benefit), retirement living could be the perfect housing option for you.

We have retirement living communities, including bungalows and flats, in all areas of the city.

With retirement living, you live in your own home, with your own front door in a community of like-minded people. You also have the added reassurance of knowing that help is on hand if you need it.

Beautiful communal facilities

The communal areas of our retirement living communities have been or are being refurbished as part of our ‘Grander Designs’ programme.

The stylish and contemporary lounges provide a warm and comfortable environment for relaxation and socialising and well maintained outdoor spaces have seating areas for socialising in warmer weather.

Have a pet?

A number of our retirement living communities are pet friendly. To find out which ones they are, go to the retirement living pages of our Housing Services website, and click the area links to find out which schemes are pet friendly in each area. Retirement Living Communities

Individually tailored support

All residents are supported by a named Independent Living Coordinator who will visit regularly to help you to access help or support if you need it, and address any issues that you may have.

How much, or little, contact you have with them is up to you.

Nottingham on Call

All of our retirement living homes come with the added peace of mind of our Nottingham on Call service, which can provide help in times of crisis 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through the activation of a pendant or pull-cord. Highly trained, knowledgeable and locally based staff will make sure that you receive the right care and support as quickly as possible.
