Re-registration of HomeLink applicants
We wrote to everybody on the Nottingham HomeLink Housing Register in the summer of 2019 about proposed changes to Nottingham City Council's Allocations Policy. These have now been fully implemented, and we have completed the re-registration of all applicants. You can read the full Allocations Policy by clicking here.
We're now writing to everybody on the Housing Register to let you know the allocations band you have been put in as a result of these changes, the reason you've been put in this band and to let you know when this starts. Letters are due to land on doormats early week commencing Monday 22 February.
This decision takes into account any extra waiting time that you may qualify for. If you have been awarded Local Area Preference you will have been given additional waiting time and will be able to bid for properties in the areas you qualify for.
Your right to appeal
If you don’t agree with the change to your band, you can appeal the decision in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the reasons for your appeal within 28 days of the date of this letter. Please include your application reference number in your email. Due to the current coronavirus restrictions we cannot accept appeals by post or delivery in person.
