Take a trip to the Job Centre to speak to an education adviser get or job advice. Choose a career path such as an administrator, labourer or beautician and sign up to a college course to get the necessary qualifications.
By getting a job you can earn money to buy food, go clothes shopping or buy drinks at the bar. You'll need to remember to pay your rent and bills though! Enjoy your free time by going for a walk in the park or going to the salon for a makeover.
In-Living was launched in February 2009 during Nottingham City Council's Youth Month and is similar in style to the popular Sims game.
Living on your own for the first time can be daunting for anyone, but particularly for younger people. This game helps answer a lot of questions and gives you the chance to learn, possibly make mistakes, but learn how to fixthem – all without having to actually go through it!
